How we got here

We didn't start in trades.

We started somewhere else, paid attention to what worked, and moved. The model is built on proof, not theory.

    We started in pest control.

    First niche. Made informational videos — how-to style, blog-in-video form. They performed well. So we kept going.

  2. 022024

    20 leads a week.

    First real test was a pest control company. At peak: 20 high-quality leads per week, 5–10 of them converting to recurring subscriptions. Not one-off jobs. Subscriptions.

  3. 032024–25

    We kept experimenting.

    Different formats, different placements, different objectives. Stumbled into something that worked significantly better than the educational stuff: short-form transformational content run as paid ads.

  4. 042025

    Picked a lane.

    The pest control results were good. The transformational format was better. So we moved everything onto that — only trades whose work produces visible before-and-after every day.

    Where we are now.

    12 specialists, 10+ clients shipped, one model. Not a roadmap. Just a thing that works.

Where we stand

Social media and paid ads aren't either/or. Together, they compound.

Run ads without posting and you're paying to drive people to a feed that's been dead since March. Post without running ads and you're invisible to anyone who hasn't already heard of you.

Together: the ads bring traffic, the feed builds the trust, the leads convert at a higher rate. Real numbers — a turf installer running $2,400/mo in ads with a steady posting schedule is currently doing about $70,000/mo in jobs.

The caveat that has to come with that: it only holds when the client is on their game. Fast response times. Organised scheduling. Show up to every appointment. The ads surface the opportunity. The business has to close it.
