Web development for trades, hand-built.

Hand-crafted sites built by people who know what actually converts in trades. Designed around your brand — properly, not a Squarespace template with your logo dropped in. Every site ships SEO-ready out of the box: schema, speed, clean structure, the works.

  • Hand-crafted, by people who know trades
  • Ships SEO-ready from day one
  • + 2 months of SEO post-launch ($2,000 value)

What's in a build

Four parts. All hand-done.

The build is one project from kickoff to launch. Design, code, setup, and handoff — by people who do this for a living, not a page-builder doing the heavy lifting.

Typical timeline: 4–8 weeks from kickoff to launch. The messy part is content — your photos, your copy, your reviews. We can write it for you for an extra fee, or you can.

01

Design

Custom layouts built around your brand, not a template that 4,000 other businesses are running. Built mobile-first because that's where the leads come from.

  • Custom design — every page laid out for what you're trying to convert
  • Brand pulled from your existing assets (or rebuilt from scratch if needed)
  • Mobile-first layouts — desktop is the second priority, not the first
  • Designed to match the conversion goal, not just look pretty
02

Build

Hand-coded where it matters. Fast to load, easy to update, no bloat. We don't ship 80kb of CSS for a button hover.

  • Clean code, hand-written, with version control
  • Page weight kept low — we benchmark Lighthouse, not vibes
  • Accessible by default (WCAG AA)
  • SEO foundations baked in — schema, sitemap, fast Core Web Vitals
03

Tech setup

All the unglamorous wiring that decides whether a site actually performs in the wild — and most agencies skip.

  • Domain, SSL, DNS — set up properly, in your name
  • Google Analytics 4, Search Console, basic conversion tracking
  • Sitemap submitted, schema verified, indexing checked
  • 301 redirects from your old URLs (if it's a rebuild)
04

Handoff & launch

We hand you the keys, then we keep the lights on. Hosting, basic content updates, and 2 months of our SEO service are all included after launch.

  • Walkthrough video showing how to update content yourself
  • Basic content updates included in monthly hosting (small edits)
  • 2 months of our SEO service post-launch — $2,000 value, on us
  • If you ever leave us, you keep everything. We help migrate. No beef.

How a build runs

Eight weeks. Sometimes less.

The honest range: 4 weeks for small marketing sites, 8 for the average build, longer if it's e-commerce or a heavy migration. We'll give you the actual number on the discovery call, not a vague "depends on scope."

  1. 01Week 1

    Discovery.

Call, audit, scope. We look at what you have, what you actually need (not always the same thing), and what's worth building first. You get a written scope and a fixed price before any work starts.

  2. 02Weeks 2–3

    Design.

Wireframes first to nail the structure. Then full design mockups for the homepage and key templates. Two rounds of revisions baked in. We don't move to code until you sign off.

  3. 03Weeks 3–6

    Build.

Hand-coded against the approved design. Hosted on a staging URL so you can click through it as it comes together. Content goes in. Forms get wired. Tracking gets set up properly.

  4. 04Weeks 7–8

    Launch.

Pre-launch checklist (speed, accessibility, links, redirects, schema). DNS cutover. Walkthrough video. Admin access in your name. We monitor for a week post-launch and fix anything that breaks.

Where we stand

Any platform. We prefer WordPress.

The platform doesn't have to be exotic to be good. WordPress still runs roughly 40% of the internet, and it's not because it's trendy. It's because you own everything, the plugin ecosystem covers what trades businesses actually need, and you're never one platform-pricing-update away from your site being held hostage.

When something else is genuinely the right call — a heavy visual site, a marketing-only landing page — we'll use the right tool. We're not WordPress evangelists. We just don't like locking clients in.

The exceptions, said with love: we don't build on Wix (export is bad, SEO is worse), and we don't build Shopify stores (ecommerce isn't the lane we're in). Both of those are real choices — they're just choices for different agencies than us.

Pricing

Starts at $5,000.

Yes, that's the actual starting number. No, you can't get a $1,500 site from us. There are people who do that work — we are not them.

Most projects land between $5k and $15k depending on page count, integrations, and how custom the design needs to be. We give you a fixed price after the discovery call — no "starting at" numbers that quietly grow.

Custom website

from$5,000

  • Custom in-house plugins so you don't pay for premium ones
  • Uptime monitoring

You can leave any time. We help you migrate. No beef.

What's not in the price

  • DomainYours. Buy it on your registrar. Goes nowhere when our work ends.
  • Third-party toolsPremium plugins, paid software, anything subscription — those stay on your bill.

Before you book

Things people ask before greenlighting a build.

If yours isn't here, ask it on the call. We'd rather you bring the awkward one than walk away guessing.

08questions, all on the record

  • Q.01How long does a build actually take?

4–8 weeks from kickoff to launch. The variable that decides where you land in that range is content — copy and photos. Some clients ship in 4 weeks because they had everything ready. Some land at 8 because we're chasing every bullet point. The build itself isn't the slow part. The content is.

  • Q.02How does the content and copy actually come together?

This is the slow part of every build, so we try to make it less painful. We send a structured intake, ask for what we need in chunks, and pull what we can from your existing site or socials. We're pretty good at extracting info from busy people who are on the tools all day. The honest answer: the faster you get us content, the faster you go live. Optional copywriting is available — we quote it after we see the scope.

  • Q.03Why does it start at $5,000?

Because cheaper than that and we'd be cutting corners we don't want to cut. A real custom design takes design hours. A clean code build takes development hours. We could ship $1,500 sites by giving you a template with your logo on it — but that's not the work we do. If a $1,500 site is what you actually need, that's a real and reasonable choice. There are people who do that. We are not them.

  • Q.04Can I update it myself after launch?

Yes — and your monthly hosting also covers the small stuff if you'd rather we do it. Phone number changes, price tweaks, swapping a photo, adding a service location — anything that takes us 10 minutes is included. Larger work (new pages, complex integrations, design changes) gets quoted separately. You get admin access in your name plus a walkthrough video showing how to do the small stuff yourself if you prefer.

  • Q.05Do you do hosting?

Yes. $50/mo, separate from the build cost. We don't make money on it — we pass our bulk discounts through. The reason we handle it: it's easier for everyone, and we can run our in-house plugins instead of you paying for premium ones from the marketplace. The $50/mo covers updates, daily backups, security, and basic content updates. If you ever want to leave, we help you migrate. No beef.

  • Q.06Can you redo my existing site?

Yes, this is most of what we do. We start with an audit — what's keeping the current site, what's getting rebuilt, what content gets migrated, what redirects need to land so you don't lose SEO. The price for a rebuild is usually similar to a new build — bad work is sometimes harder to fix than no work.

  • Q.07Do you do ecommerce?

No, this isn't our work. Ecommerce — products, inventory, shipping, returns — is its own world and the build effort is substantial. We focus on lead-gen sites for service-based trades. If you genuinely need a Shopify or WooCommerce store and we like you, we'll point you at someone good. We're not the right shop.

  • Q.08What about SEO?

Two answers. Technical SEO is in every build — schema, fast Core Web Vitals, clean URLs, proper meta, sitemap, Search Console setup. That's day one. We also include 2 months of our SEO service post-launch ($2,000 value, on us). The honest part: SEO is slow on a new site. We're not going to pretend otherwise. The 2 months speeds up the rankings and lead-gen ramp, but it's still measured in months not weeks. Our full SEO service picks up from there if you want to keep going.

Last word

Send us the footage. We do the rest.

30 minutes on a call. We'll look at what you've got, tell you what we'd run, and tell you upfront if it's not a fit. If it isn't, you've lost half an hour. We've spent longer trying to explain what we do to our parents.
